Season's Greetings

Today I have a pair of wintery holiday cards. This coffee loving lady was one of my very first Unity Stamp Company purchases. I just love everything about her. So for this years Fall/Winter Coffee lovers Blog Hop, I knew I had to use her for one of my cards. In this case, two!!

I started by stamping these 2 lovelies on water colour paper using Gina K Amalgam ink in Obsidian. It is my go to ink for watercolouring. It doesn't run or bleed. I then used Karin Brushmarker Pro water colour markers to colour up the images and backgrounds. Colours Used were: Background: Sapphire Blue

Hair: Almond, Copper Brown

Purple Coat: Pale Violet Scarf & glove: Pale Pink, Cherise Mug: Apple: Grass Brown Coat: Rosewood, Sandstone, Grass Scarf & glove: Pale Pink, Burgundy Mug: Arctic Blue

I let them dry completely then die cut them out using a 3.5x4.875 dotted frame die from Little B. Then I splattered them with white acrylic paint (slightly thinned with water). Next, I die cut 2 dotted rectangle panels and adhered my ladies on once the paint had completely dried. I then stamped of my sentiment two times on white cardstock and fussy cut them out. I backed them with double sided foam tape and added them onto my panels below the coat.

I then adhered one of the panels directly onto a white A2 (4.25x5.5) card base. The other one I adhered to an ice blue cardstock panel first then onto a white A2 card base. So I made two because when I coloured up the one with the brown coat, I didn't like it. After I coloured up the other one and had them side by side I ended up liking them both! Now I cannot decide which one I like better! What do you think?
