Hello there. These adorable bears were a gift from La-La Land Crafts that they gave to all attendees at a Sweet Sentiment retreat I recently went to. They are so fun to colour and I just had to have them all on the same card, so I created this wintery slimline shaker card.
To create this card, I first die cut the window panel for the shaker. I used Trinity Stamps Stitched Card Panels and Windows to die cut 5 panels from white cardstock. I adhere 4 of them together into a stack.
Then I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the 5th panel. Then adhered it on the top of the stacked widow panel.
Onto a separate piece of cardstock, I marked areas to ink blend backgrounds for the windows. I blended Catherine Pooler inks in Suede Shoes and Garden Party in the
areas I marked.
I trimmed the inked background so that it would fit behind the window panel and added shaker bits on top of each ink blended area. Then I adhered the window panel overtop.
Next, I adhered the cute bears, that I had previously coloured and fussy cut out, onto the panel. One by each window. I also adhered some of the shiny shaker bits on the front panel and then adhered it onto a white slimline card base. I finished the front with some sentiments I created using my computer.
I had so much fun colouring and creating this cute shaker card! I hope it inspires you to create a cute shaker card too! Thanks for visiting!
Below are my affiliate links to products I used for this card. *Disclosure: I use affiliate links where I can. This does not add any extra cost to you, but I do receive a small amount which helps keep me in craft supplies. Thank You*
