The Rabbit Hole designs has a WHALE of a good release this month! Today is all about this beautifully sweet Balloon Party stamp set illustrated by Tatsianna Zayats! I just love all her sets, they are so adorable!
This mini slimline card was a breeze to make using TRHD's Getting Inky 6x6 paper pack. I chose a, sea like, blue inked paper and trimmed it to 3.25x5.75. I adhered to black cardstock measuring a little larger to get a nice black border, then adhered it onto a white mini slimline card base measuring 3.5x6.
I then stamped my whale and balloon images in black ink onto white cardstock. I coloured the images using Prismacolour Premier pencils. Warm greys for the bunny and light blues and white for the whale and balloons. I added a touch of pink to the bunny's cheek and ear. I then cut the images out. There is a coordinating die set to cut the images.
Next, I lined up on the card where I wanted to place the bunny & whale and balloons. Then I stamped the balloon strings directly onto the blue inked background using black ink. Once the ink had dried, I adhered my images onto the card.
I decided not to add a sentiment to the front because I loved the clean look of the card as it was and thought that adding a sentiment would take away from the prettiness of it.
