Welcome to day 1 of The Rabbit Hole Designs new release and inspiration hop. The set I'm featuring today is the gorgeous Succulent Life 4x6" stamp set illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats. This set includes 2 beautiful succulent arrangements that would be perfect for so many occasions.
I couldn't decide on what image to use for my card, so I ended up making 2!
I started by stamping both images on separate pieces of Neenah Super Smooth Solar White cardstock. Then I coloured them up using my Copic markers.
Once I had them coloured, I stamped the sentiments and trimmed them down using a 3.25x4.5" dotted rectangle die from my stash.
I wanted a super pretty background for them, so I instantly thought of the Rhombus Diamond hot foil plate with Aurora foil. It creates a gorgeous background that shows lovely different colors. Perfect to show off my succulents! I was so excited that I forgot to take a picture of the first background! Sorry.
I then took the negative diamond foiling that was created from foiling my first card and heated it up using a solid hot foil plate to transfer it onto my cardstock. Here's the pic this time.
With my foiled backgrounds created, I trimmed them down to just under 4.25x5.5", adhered them onto top folding A2 sized (4.25x5.5") card bases then adhered my succulents on to finish the cards.
These cards turned out better than I had pictured in my head! Which one is your favourite? I hope my cards have given you some inspiration today.
