New Home, I-Crafter New Release

Hello! There's a great new release available today over at i-crafter! I created this card thinking of my son and his wife. They are looking to purchase their very first home which gave me the idea to make a "congrats on your new home" card. I used the newly released Stand-Up Window Add On die set along with previously released Tiny Home 3D and Alphabet Carly die sets.

I started out by using the hexagon die from the Stand-Up Window Add On set to cut a hexagon from a white top folding A2 sized (4.25x5.5") card base and a patterned paper panel I had trimmed using a stitched rectangle die from my stash. Then I adhered the patterned panel onto the card base.

Then using the included hexagon dies, I created a solid green hexagon and a charcoal gray outline for it. I then lined them up with the cutout on the front of the card and adhered them on the inside.

I then used one of the tiny home dies from the Tiny Home 3D die set to cut a home from blue and charcoal gray cardstock. I then assembled the blue home and trimmed the gray one to use the roof and the door on the blue home.

I then used the congrats word and shadow dies included in the Stand-Up Window Add On to cut a charcoal gray shadow and green word. I adhered them together then adhered it onto the card front. I also adhered the home onto the green hexagon.

Next, I used the Alphabet, Carly die set to cut the letters needed to write "on your new home" from blue cardstock. Then I adhered them on the inside of the card.

I love how this card turned out and I think my son and daughter in law are really going to appreciate receiving this card once they find their home! I hope this inspires you to give this a try and use your die sets together! Thanks for visiting. Happy crafting!
