Hello! Welcome to day 1 of The Rabbit Hole Designs new release and inspiration hop. This months release is all about Caffeinated Critters! My card features the new Caffeinated Llama. I pictured him to be waking up in the morning, thinking about what he needed to do and then realizing that he was going to need another cup in order to conquer the world!! I started out by creating my ink blended background using Tumbled Glass and Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide inks on a white A2 (4.25x5.5) sized cardstock panel. On the bottom, I used a grass stencil from my stash to ink Mowed Lawn distress oxide on.
I then trimmed my background down using an A2 sized stitched rectangle die from my stash. Next, I stamped my Caffeinated Llama onto white cardstock and coloured him up using my Prismacolor coloured pencils. Then I die cut him out using the coordinating Caffeinated llama die.
For the sentiments, I stamped "hold that thought, llama get another cup" onto white cardstock and trimmed it out. Then for my thought bubble, I used a cloud die from my stash and added the words "conquer the world" from The Right Shoes stamp set. I then used 2 different sized hole punches for the dots.
Now that I had created all the elements for my card, I adhered them all onto my ink blended background. I think this turned out so fun! I just love TRHD Caffeinated Critter line.
