Gemini Girl, Fiesta Ready

Hi there! This Gemini Girl from Picket Fence Studios is so much fun to colour up. She is part of the gorgeous Horoscope Girls line that they have. I especially love giving her unique hair that I would never be brave enough to pull off.

Every April, the city I live in holds Fiesta. It is a 10day city wide celebration that is super colourful entertaining. I can just picture this girl having fun at all the Fiesta Events.

To create this card, I started by stamping my Gemini Girl onto white cardstock using Ink on 3 No-line, Fade Out Ink. I then coloured her using Crayola Colors of the World pencils for her skin and Prismacolor Premier Pencils for the rest. Then I die cut the image out using the coordinating die that is available.

I wanted to put her on a galaxy background, so I pulled out my Galaxy 6x6 paper pack from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This pack is full of awesome galaxy papers! I chose the one I wanted and trimmed it down using an A2 (4.25x5.5") stitched rectangle die from my stash. I then adhered it onto a white A2 sized top folding card base.

Next, using the word "Gemini" that is included in the die set, I cut the word from silver holographic cardstock. Then adhered both the girl and the word onto the galaxy background.
