There is something magical about Fall. Leaves turning glorious colours, crisp morning air, fresh apples and warm sweaters. Those are things that I love about this time of year. I tried to capture some of my love for Autumn in this card featuring fabulous products by Trinity Stamps.
I started out by using the Stitched Swirling Wind die to create breezy fall air on a blue cardstock panel measuring 4.25x5.5". I trimmed it down using a stitched rectangle die from my stash. Then I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink all around the edge of the panel.
I backed the panel with black cardstock slightly larger so a thin border of black shows.
Next, I die cut the mug from white cardstock and also black glossy cardstock. Then I adhered the white outline onto the panel. and added alternate black and white stripes. The mug was sent as a freebie included in my order from Trinity Stamps. I love it when companies include unexpected little goodies!
After that, I used the Beautiful Breeze die set to cut out a bunch of leaf shapes from white cardstock. I used my Copics to colour the leaves in shades of green, yellow, orange and red. Then I add them randomly to the top of the mug and around the bottom.
For my card sentiment, I stamped Autumn Greetings from the Beautiful Breeze stamp set onto white cardstock using black ink. Then I die cut the words out using coordinating dies and adhered them onto my panel.
Now that my panel was complete, I adhered it to a top folding A2 (4.25x5.5)sized white card base to finish the card.
I love this Fall release from Trinity Stamps. It really reminds me of home! Thanks for visiting today. Happy Crafting!
