A Gift For You- i-crafter New Release

Welcome! It is release day at i-crafter and there's lots of fun new products! My creation features the new Ribbon Rosette, Christmas Add On and the previously released Buffalo Plaid stencil. I used the rosette as a bow on the gift and the stencil to make the gift wrap. I started out by creating my gift wrap. I cut the amount of white craft wrapping paper that would fit the size of my box. Then I applied black ink through the stencil moving and lining the stencil up as I went across the paper. Once the ink was dry, I trimmed the paper and wrapped my gift.

I then went on to create my Rosette for the top of the gift. I started by die cutting 3 of the long curved shapes from the Ribbon Rosette die set from black cardstock. Then I folded them along the score lines like an accordion and adhered them end to end to close creating a circle.

I then die cut 2 black circles using the circle die from the die set. Then I adhered one on the top of my accordion circle and one on the bottom. I weighted it down by placing a couple of acrylic blocks on top until the adhesive had dried.

Next I used the plaid stencil on white cardstock with black ink. Then I die cut the pointy edge circle using the die from the Ribbon Rosette die set. I die cut the words " For You" using the die from the Christmas Add-On out of black cardstock and also silver mirror cardstock. I adhered the black words behind the silver ones to create a shadow and adhered them onto the plaid circle. I then adhered that to my accordion circle.

With the rosette complete, I started to die cut the ribbons that would circle around the whole rosette using the dies from the Ribbon Rosette die set. I die cut the large ribbons in black and smaller ones from silver mirror cardstock. Then I started arranging them in a circle on my gift, starting with the large black ones.

Once They were laid down and adhered, I adhered on my "For You" rosette.

I love all the different ways you can use the Ribbon Rosette die set and all the add-ons! I am really please with the way this turned out! I gave it to my son on his birthday and he loved this gift! I hope you give this idea a try. It was so fun to create and give. Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy Crafting!
