Whole Latte Love Shaker

Hello! Today I have this cool round shaker card I created using I-Crafters new Dashed Circles die set and the Latte Coffee Sentiments stamp set. Since it’s Monday, I thought I’d kick start the week with some coffee!

I thought it would be fun to create a round shaker card and I knew the Latte Coffee Sentiment set would work perfectly with it.

To create the round card base, I used the 4″ dashed circle die to cut the circle shape from a 5.5 x 4.25″ pink card base. I made sure that the circle extended beyond the fold at the top of the card, then ran it through my die cutting machine.

I then placed the 2.5″ dashed circle inside the 3.25″ dashed circle in order to cut the gray cardstock frame for the shaker.

Next I used the 2.5″ dashed circle to cut the base of the shaker from printed cardstock. Then I adhered that to the center of the pink card base.

After that, I cut a piece of clear acetate to fit behind the gray dashed circle frame and adhered it in place.

I placed clear double sided foam tape from The Rabbit Hole Designs, all around the the circle, over the acetate. Then I placed my shaker mix onto the center of the patterned circle. I removed the backer paper from the tape and carefully adhered it over the circle with the shaker mix.

I wanted my coffee cups to face each other so I had to use a mirroring technique. I did this by stamping the coffee cup onto an acrylic block using pink ink. Then I placed a piece of white cardstock overtop and carefully rubbed the top of the paper so that it didn’t move. Then I removed the paper from the block and colored the image in using colored pencils. Next, I just stamped a cup onto white cardstock using gray ink and colored that image as well. I stamped the heart swirled foam inside the rim of the cup using Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink, then fussy cut them out.

Then, I stamped the sentiment in gray ink onto pink cardstock. I used a banner die from my stash to trim it out. Then I adhered both cups and the sentiment banner onto the front of my shaker card.

I had a ton of fun creating this round shaker card. I hope it inspires you to try out a round shaker card. Thanks for visiting!
