Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to The Rabbit Hole Designs! To celebrate, TRHD has an amazing release full of cuteness and beauty!
Today I'm starting out the year with a pretty, get well card using the gorgeous new Mindful Magnolias, illustrated by Agota Pop!
I started by stamping my image in black ink, colouring with Prismacolor Premier Pencils, then die cutting my chosen image using the coordinating die set.
I wanted to create a soft, yet textured background so I used the Amanda stencil, with the embossing sandwich recommended for my die cutting machine and ran it through my machine to create a dry embossed background.
Next, I used the, You've Been Framed, die set to trim the embossed panel to 4.25x5.5".
I adhered the coloured magnolia image onto the embossed panel near the bottom.
Then, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set onto the panel, above the magnolia flowers.
Finally, I adhered the panel onto a white, top folding, A2 sized (4.25x5.5") card base to finish my card.
I am so happy with how this card turned out. These magnolia flowers in the set are so beautiful and are so fun to colour! I hope you have a wonderful New Year! Thanks for visiting!
