Happy International Women's Day! I have always been big on empowerment and strength in and for women. Throughout my life I have always strived for personal strength and independence. Having only sons, I also have tried to be a positive example of this and instill in them the importance of lifting up and empowering women.

My card celebrates the uniqueness of each and every one of us! Do not be afraid to be yourself, you are beautiful!! I used a few products from The Rabbit Hole Designs to create this colourful card.
I started out by stamping the beautiful new Flowers in Her Hair stamp in black onto bristol smooth paper. I then coloured her up using a combination of coloured pencils and metallic, sparkly watercolor paint. Then I die cut her out using the coordinating die that's available.
I love that the sparkly watercoloured hair changes colour when light hits it at different angles.
The fabulous alcohol inked background is actually printed paper from The Rabbit Hole Designs 6x6 Getting Inky paper pack! So, it is so quick and easy to put together a beautiful card. For this card, I chose the rainbow coloured background. I die cut a 4.25x 5.5" background panel using a stitched rectangle die from my stash. Then I adhered my beautiful girl to the background.
I then prepared the background paper for heat embossing using the extraordinary Cottontail Embossing Tool. I stamped my sentiment in embossing ink, applied white embossing powder, then heat set it.
The last step was to adhere my panel to a top folding A2 (4.25x5.5) white card base. I love how this card turned out. I hope it inspires you to be strong, stand tall and be yourself! Thanks so much for visiting! Have a wonderful day!!
