So Sweet it's Scary!

Welcome! I have something sweet to share today! This cute card features the newly released Spooktacular Cupcakes 6x6 Stamp set by Pawsome Stamps. Aren't those ghost strawberries adorable?

To create my card, I stamped the tombstone cupcake image on a piece of Neenah Super Smooth Solar White cardstock in black. I then stamped the strawberry ghosts above the cupcake as though they are floating up from it and then the sentiment above that.

I then coloured my images up using Copic markers. It has been a long time since using my Copics so I just did some simple colouring to get me back in the swing of things.

Next, I created masks for the cupcake and strawberries by stamping them onto masking paper and fussy cutting them out. I covered the coloured images with the masks and then ink blended Salvaged Patina and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink around the sweet treats.

Once I've finished blending, I remove the masks and use a (4.25x5X5") stitched wonky die to trim my panel down.

I placed the masks back over my coloured images then spritzed the background with water and let it dry. I then splattered titanium white acrylic paint that I had thinned a little with water using a paint brush and removed the masks.

When the splatters were dry, I adhered the panel onto a white, A2 (4.25x5x5") sized top folding card base.

This was a super fun card to colour and create! I hope it has inspired you to create a sweet Halloween card.
