Salem Bicycle Society Witch

Updated: Jul 29, 2020

I picture this cute witch rushing to a meeting that she is already running late for. Wind blowing her hair as she hurriedly bikes along the way.

This new Halloween release from The Rabbit Hole Designs is so just so fun! I love creating with these lovely, witchy stamps.

To create this card, I ink blended Chipped Sapphire, Wilted Violet and Spiced Marmalade to make this dusky sky background on a white A2 card base. I stamped the Witch image using Gina K Amalgam ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, coloured her with Copics then fussy cut her out. The colours used were:

Bike: C00, C03, C05, C09 then I used a metallic pencil on the lighter areas Basket: E41,E35 Cat:C00, C01, C03

Dress and shoes: FYR1

Hat and stockings:C00, C02, C03, C05

Skin:E00, E11 Lips: R20 Hair: YG11, YG07

Next, on a piece of brown cardstock that I had stamped with a woodgrain stamp I stamped the sentiment then cut it out to resemble a sign. I drew a direction arrow on the sign using a black micropen. I glued it onto a thin strip of woodgrain brown cardstock. For the fence and tree, I used images from my Cricut. For the pumpkin I used foiled mirrored cardstock. I stamped the pumpkin image, fussy cut it, and then paper pieced it on. Finally, I adhered all components onto the card and added the bat I stamped, coloured with a black Copic, then fussy cut.

I really love how this card turned out and cannot wait to see where her bicycle takes her next.
