Hello! The cards I am sharing today were inspired by a crafty friend of mine, Amy of Amy's Wares. I watched her great video about using Catherine Pooler inks and the sweet Nostalgic Season stamp set to create quick holiday cards. Then, when I decided to create 38 cards to give a local foster kid's program, Amy's idea came to mind. I'll link her video below.
I started out by "swiping" my mini ink pad horizontally across an A2 (4.25x5.5") sized white cardstock panel in an alternating colour pattern. The colours I used:
Stocking: Samba, Mardi Gras
Christmas tree: Lime Ricky, Aquatini
Christmas tree shadow: Something Borrowed, Flirty Fuchsia
Then I stamped the images on the ink stripes using Versamark Onyx Black ink.
Next, I die cut panels using a dotted rectangle die measuring from my stash. With my panels created, I stamped my sentiments in black onto the white space of the panels.
With all the stamping complete, I backed the panels with a black cardstock panel then adhered them onto an A2 sized white card base.
I love how quick these were to put together! I hope the kids like them! I'd love to hear which one is your favourite! Thanks so much for visiting!!
Below are my affiliate links to products I used for this card. ***Disclosure: I use affiliate links where I can. This does not add any extra cost to you, but I do receive a small amount which helps keep me in craft supplies. Thank you!***
