Hello everyone! Today I have another spooky Halloween creation as a guest designer for Doodles Paper Playground. This card features the fabulous Poisoned Apple Sparkle Blend. I used this blend to create a toxic brew. I don't think I'd be drinking this drink. Would you be brave enough to give it a try?
I started out by creating a background by using a Tim Holtz embossing folder with gray cardstock. The embossing folder is no longer available, but I will link one that I think would look great too.
I then ink blended Twisted Citron, then Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks around the edges going inward.
Next, I die cut the elements for the card. The cup I die cut from gray cardstock and ink blended Black Soot around the edges. The other elements I die cut from white cardstock and blended Twisted Citron onto them. I die cut an extra Happy Halloween from purple cardstock and added it behind the other one to act as a shadow.
I then adhered the Poisoned Apple Sparkle Blend to the whipped cream like they were sprinkles shaken over the top.
Then, I added all my elements onto the embossed background.
After that I adhered it onto a white top folding A2 sized (4.25x5.5) card base and added more Poisoned Apple Blend to the bottom around the cup and a couple floating up near the ghost. Then I adhered the Happy Halloween words and stamped Hocus Pocus (a stamp from my stash) onto the cup to finish off the card.
