Welcome! It's day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs new release and inspiration hop. For today's card, I created a scene around one of the sentiments in the new Sassy Sentiments stamp set. This set is packed full of great sentiments that can be used for all your sassy friends or family.
I knew that the previously released Clarence Skydiving would be perfect for this card. I wanted him to skydive with a friend, so I pulled out my mirror image rubber stamp in order to get one of the Clarence images to face the other. I then used my misti to stamp Clarence onto the red rubber in black using Amalgam ink, Obsidian. With my inked image on the rubber, I quickly laid a white cardstock panel over it, being careful not to slide the cardstock. That would smear the image. I then rubbed the back of the cardstock over where the image was on the red rubber in order to get the image to transfer onto my cardstock.
Now that I had Clarence facing right, I used my Misti to stamp Clarence directly onto the cardstock so they would face each other.
Next, I coloured them up using Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils. I gave them different colouring so they would look like friends and not the same squirrel.
I then trimmed my cardstock to an A2 (4.25x5.5) sized panel using a stitched rectangle die from my stash.
Last but not least, I stamped the sassy sentiment centered underneath them and adhered the panel to a white A2 sized card base.
