Welcome! Today there is a great new release over at i-Crafter. My creation features the new Ribbon Rosette, Halloween Add-on. This set is full of Halloween goodness that can be used with the Ribbon Rosette die set. The ribbon rosette I made uses a bunch of the dies included in the new Halloween set.
I started out by die cutting 3 rosette pieces from purple cardstock. I then bent them along the score lines. Folding forward then backward (mountain fold, then valley fold). I adhered the pieces together by the tabs creating the rosette circle.
I then die cut 2 solid circles from black cardstock ad adhered one to the front and one on the back of the rosette and placed a couple of acrylic blocks on top to hold them in place until the adhesive set.
Next I die cut the embellishments for the rosette. A black cat, white ghost and orange jack-o-lantern. I backed the jack-o-lantern and cat eyes with acid green cardstock to show through the cut outs.
I adhered my black cat, ghost and jack-o-lantern above the boo crew word on the rosette. Then created my ribbons. I die cut 2 large purple and 2 small acid green ribbons. I used the included spider web die to cut 4 black webs. I adhered the webs onto the small ribbons and trimmed off the parts that extended beyond the ribbon. Then I adhered them onto the purple ribbons and then to the back of the rosette.
