Hey there! Today I have a cool and cute birthday card featuring the new Diminishing Lines stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.
I started out by securing the stencil over a white cardstock panel measuring 4.25x5.5". I ink blended Catherine Pooler, Grape Crush. Darker towards the center and gradually fading. I removed, cleaned and replaced the stencil (rotated slightly) and ink blended Catherine Pooler ink in Garden Party.
Next, I stamped, coloured and die cut out the cute little birthday hamster from Mama Elephant's Little Hamster Agenda stamp set.
I trimmed the panel down using a stitched rectangle die from my stash then adhered it to an A2 (4.2x5.5") black cardstock panel then onto a white top folding card base. I adhered the hamster to the center.
The last step was to stamp my sentiment in the bottom corner.
I love the effect that the stencil gives, highlighting the center where the hamster stands.
I hope this card has inspired you to create a cool effect using this fun stencil. Thanks for visiting!
