This gorgeous fairy from the Sweet Sentiment new release is so magically fun to colour! This Fairy Tale stamp set is just one of many awesome sets in the new release!
To start, I stamped her onto Sweet Sentiment colouring paper. I then used Polychromo pencils to colour her up.
I then used Masking Magic paper to create a mask for her and covered up the coloured image.
With the coloured image covered, I started ink blending a blue sky using Catherine Pooler ink, Oh Boy. I then used a couple of cloud stencil masks to create soft clouds using the same blue ink.
I switched to Catherine Pooler's Garden Party and ink blended it towards the bottom of the panel.
I removed the mask. I felt like I needed to deepen her skin tone, so I pulled out my coloured pencils to add more shadows and depth to her.
Next, I stamped the sentiment in the bottom left corner, trimmed the panel to 4.23x5.48" and adhered it onto a white top folding A2 sized (4.25x5.5") card base.
