Hi there! Mother's Day has snuck up on me this year! So, I made a quick, clean and simple card using the new, Lovely Lilies stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This set is absolutely beautiful and so versatile.
I started by adding a strip of low tack tape to my A2 sized (4.25x5.5) card panel. I then stamped my image directly onto the panel in black ink. I removed the tape carefully so not to smear the ink on the tape onto the panel.
I stamped my Happy Mother's Day sentiment in the empty space I created. I used a ruler to create straight lines where the image stops.
I then coloured the image using Primacolor Premier pencils.
I then trimmed the panel using the You've Been Framed die set. I adhered the panel onto black cardstock, onto some floral-patterned paper then onto a white, top folding, card base. A few Clear Sparkle enamel dots were added to glam the card up a bit.
I think this card turned out really prettily. I hope this inspires you to try out this technique. Thanks for visiting!
