Hot Cocoa Cutie

Hi again! Today is the last day of the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. It has been so fun to join in the fun and to see what everyone has been creating. This card features a really cute Hot Cocoa image from Darcie's LLC. I have been wanting to colour this image up for a while now and thought that this was the perfect time to do it!

I stamped the image out on white cardstock then coloured it up using my PrismaColor Premier pencils.

Then I created a frame from patterned paper using a stitched scallop frame die from my stash. I think it is from Lawn Fawn. I also die cut 3 more frames from white cardstock and adhered them all together with the patterned frame on the top. This adds height to my frame. I then adhered it over my cup of hot cocoa.

I then stamped out my sentiment onto white cardstock, die cut it out using a die from my stash and adhered it to my frame.

I have an old holiday embossed paper pack that I used for a background. I trimmed striped embossed cardstock to an A2 size (4.25x5.5). Then I adhered it to an A2 sized white card base.

The last step was to adhere my framed cup of cocoa to the embossed card base.

I love this sweet and simple card. It was really quite quick and easy to make. I hope you like it too! Thanks for visiting today! Happy crafting!
