Hello Gorgeous!

Hello! The new Vertebrae stencil from A Colorful Life Designs is so versatile. For this card I used it to create a cool sea plant background for this super fun puffer fish to swim in.

I started with a blue A2 sized (4.25x5.5) cardstock panel. Then I positioned my stencil and blended Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink all over.

After cleaning off the stencil, I repositioned the stencil over the panel again and applied Ranger Clear Crackle Paste over top of the sea plants.

While the panel was drying, I stamped, coloured and fussy cut my puffer fish from the So-Fish-Ticated stamp set from Studio Light.

I then found this fun, hello gorgeous sentiment from Honey Bee to add to the card.

Once my panel was dry, I trimmed it down using a stitched rectangle die from my stash and then adhered my puffer and sentiment to it. I also adhered the panel onto a top folding A2 sized white card base.

I then added a few acrylic drop embellishments to make it look like the puffer was saying "hello gorgeous".

I absolutely love the way this turned card turned out! The crackle paste adds a subtle, yet cool, texture to the plants in the background too! I hope this has inspired you to create something fun! Thanks for visiting!
