Hello! I couldn't resist this adorable Gnome for the Holidays stamp set from Trinity Stamps. I love how the gnome is leaning out of the truck window with a wave!
To make this card, I started out by stamping the gnome image in black onto white cardstock. I then coloured it up using Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils. Then I die cut the image out using the coordinating gnome die. I also die cut 2 more gnome shapes and adhered them to the back of the coloured one.
I then die cut 1 gold frame and 2 white frames using the largest stitched scallop frame in the die set from My Favorite Things. I adhered them in a stack with the gold frame on the top.
Next, I chose a plaid patterned paper from a 6x6 paper pad by Memory Box. I trimmed it to 4.25x5.5 and adhered it to a card base of the same size. Then I adhered the gold frame and the gnome to the card. The last step was to stamp the sentiment in black on white cardstock and die cut it out using the coordinating die. I then adhered it above the gnome on my card.
I decided to go for a fun non-traditional colour scheme with this card and am so happy I did. I love the way it turned out. Thanks so much for visiting. Happy Crafting!
