Gnoel Gnome, I-Crafter Release

Hi! There's a new release from I-Crafter today and it features cool new die sets from Lori Whitlock! This card uses the Impossible Card die cut set. So cute and can be used for two seasons!

It is so easy to put together a cute card using just this set and some patterned paper. I started by choosing my papers from a Christmas themed 6x6 paper pad. I like using this size because the images in the pattern are scaled down compared to larger sized paper.

I used the large, base die to die cut the base out of the solid blue cardstock. I then folded along the score lines.

Next, I started die cutting a few elements to go on the rectangle part of the card that stands up. I die cut the trees from white glitter cardstock and their trunks from solid brown cardstock. Then adhered them on.

Then I die cut 2 "L" shapes from the zig zag patterned paper for the base and adhered them onto the left and right sides, making sure to flip the left side of the card base before adhering on the panel.

Next, I die cut the pieces for the gnome from the patterned paper. I also used grey for his beard and blush pink for his nose. I positioned the pieces together and placed washi tape on the back (and trimmed any washi that extended past the gnome) so that I could adhere him easily onto the card.

I used the included Gnoel word die on a matching solid purple cardstock. I die cut the small rounded rectangle from the glitter cardstock and the large rectangle from patterned paper. I adhered them all together and then adhered just one of the sides onto the card. That way you will still be able to turn over the left side of the card in order for it to lay flat.

The last step was die cutting some snowflakes from the glitter cardstock using the included die. Then adhering them onto the base.

This was such a fun die set to use! I love this cute gnome and look forward to making a fall card with it next! Thanks for visiting. Keep and eye out on social media for more inspiration from the rest of the talented design team!
