Glow-in-the-dark BOO!

Halloween is almost here! This idea for a bubbling boo card has been brewing in my head ever since I received my Trinity Stamp order a couple weeks ago. I finally was able to make it. Just in the nick of time!

To create this card, I used both the Boo Brew and the Creepy Cocktails die sets. I wanted to make it seem like there was a bubbling concoction in this jack-o-lantern mug.

I started out by die cutting the mug from watercolour cardstock. I then coloured it using my Karin Brushmarker Pro watercolour markers in Orange Red and Fire Red. Once it was dry, I die cut the face. Next, I used all the bubble dies from the Creepy Cocktails die set to cut out a bunch of bubbles from watercolour cardstock. I used neon yellow green and neon violet to colour the bubbles.

Then, I used my Versamark embossing ink pad to apply ink directly onto a piece of watercolour paper. I covered the inked paper with glow in the dark embossing powder and then heat set it. Once it had cooled. I die cut the ghost from the Boo Brew set and some more bubbles from the glow in the dark paper. The word "Boo!" was also cut from the glow in the dark paper using the Carly Alphabet die set from i-crafter Arts. I created a purple shadow "Boo!" as well by colouring a piece of watercolour paper neon purple then die cutting the word once it had dried.

For the wood table top, I used a wood frame die from my stash on kraft cardstock. I adhered it to the very bottom of an A2 (4.25x5.5) sized striped Halloween paper cardstock. Then I inked around all the edges using Black Soot distress oxide ink and adhered the panel to an A2 sized card base.

I then started to add all my elements. I adhered the mug on the table and added black jack-o-lantern face. Then I adhered all the bubbles, ghost and lastly the "Boo!".

I think this card turned out the way I had pictured it in my head. It was super fun to create it! I hope this card give you some fun Halloween inspiration! Thanks for visiting. Happy Halloween!
