Felt Bunny Card, i-Crafter Release Day

Welcome! Today is release day at i-Crafter and there are lots of new goodies available. My cute card features the new Easter Embellishments Die set by Lori Whitlock. This set has all the dies to create cute Easter creations.

I started out by creating a circle for the center of an A2 (4.25x5.5) sized card. I used i-Crafter's Classic Circles Die set to cut a blue cardstock solid circle and also a dark purple frame to rim the blue circle.

I really wanted to have a bunch of different textures and layers on this card, so I decided to use a piece of tan felt for my bunny. I thought the colour would be perfect to resemble the Easter Bunny. I used the included bunny die to cut the felt bunny and also his ear, cheek, nose and eye from pink and black cardstock. Then I adhered them onto the felt bunny.

Using dies from the set, I die cut bushes in varying shades of green, a bunch of different coloured flowers and patterned eggs for the bunny to hide.

With all my embellishments cut, I began to add them to my blue circle. Starting with my darkest bushes first, so they would be in the back, then gradually went to the lightest in the front. When they were all adhered down, I trimmed off the parts that extended off the circle.

After the bushes, I adhered the purple circle frame, the bunny, flowers and then hid some eggs!

I then adhered my Easter Bunny circle to a patterned cardstock panel that I had trimmed to 4.25x5.5".

I used the Happy Easter dies from the set to die cut the words from the same purple cardstock as the circle frame. Then I adhered them above and below the circle on the patterned panel.

The final step to this card was to adhere the Happy Easter bunny panel to an A2 sized white card base. I hope you are loving this month's release and that my card inspires you to create a card full of layers and textures as well. Thanks for visiting!
