It's Christmas in July at I-Crafter! This months' release has something for everyone! My card features the new Christmas Ornament Tree Die set. There are so many different ways to use this fantastic set! I decided to go elegant and created my own background using the cut outs from the tree die.
I started the background by die cutting a bunch of white trees using the die with the solid ornament spaces.
Using a ruler, I started lining up, then adhering the white ornaments onto a white A2 sized (4.25x5.5") cardstock panel.
I then die cut a solid tree from gold mirror cardstock and a white tree with the ornament cut outs.
Then I adhered the white ornament tree on top of the solid gold tree.
I used the white trees that I had previously die cut to get the ornaments and adhered them to the back of the gold ornament tree I just created.
Next, I used the included word dies to create a gold "Merry Christmas" scripty word and white shadow. Then I adhered the gold words onto the white shadows.
Lastly, I adhered everything onto a white, top folding card base and finished it off with a few gold gems.
I really love how this card turned out and I hope this inspires you to start on some holiday card making! Thanks for visiting!
