Hello! Today I am sharing a card duo I created using the new Layered Mixed Flower Stencil set from A Colorful Life Designs. This is a set of 4 stencils which creates a pretty floral pattern when they are all used.
I wanted to create a softer floral pattern, so I chose more muted Catherine Pooler ink colours and used a lighter hand when ink blending. The colours I used were:
Serenade with Crushed Violet
Pink Champagne with Rose Petals
Apricot with Bellini
Chiffon with Catching Rays
Wintergreen
Matcha
I used the full 6x6 stencils on a 6x6 cardstock panel. I cut it on the diagonal and trimmed each panel to 4.25x5.5".
I then inked a strip of cardstock in the colour I chose to stamp my sentiments in. One strip in Matcha and the other in Rose Petals. I adhered those strips along the diagonal of the floral panels.
I then adhered my floral panels onto white, top folding A2 card bases. I used the Happy Thoughts and Spread Love clear stamp sets to stamp my sentiments on the front of the cards.
I love that I could get 2 great cards from the one panel. It was an easy way to create a pretty patterned paper! I've listed the products I used to create these cards below. Thanks for visiting!
