This card is inspired by the pin up girls that were popular during WWII, especially Rita Hayworth. This lovely witchy stamp set screams pin up girl to me, so I tried to capture that vibe in my card.
I started by stamping my witch onto copic friendly cardstock using Gina K Amalgam ink. I coloured her up using Copics. Then using an exacto knife around a circle, I partially cut around her and fussy cut the rest of her out.
Copics:
lips YR09
hair: B000,B24, C02, C03
hat, jeans, top, boots:C01, C02, C03, C05
Orange: Y17,YR15, YR07
Broom: E41, E31, E37, E18
Eyes: YG67
Skin, E21, E00 E33
Circle, Y000
After she was cut out, I adhered her using double sided foam tape onto a layered background. I created the layers using Halloween Cardstock, Stitched rounded corner rectangle dies, and a wonky stitched die. I stamped the sentiment onto grey cardstock, added the bats and cut it out using a stitched banner die. I used Black Soot distressed oxide around the edges of the layers and the banner.
I hope you enjoy this pin up inspired card and it inspires you to create a fun witch card yourself!
