Hello! Today I have a pretty, encouragement card with a bold pop of colour. I used the new Candid Carnation stamp set from Sweet Sentiment. I really love that all their floral sets include a geometric stamp that adds interest to your cards.
I started out by stamping the geometric image onto an A2 (4.25x5.5") sized Sweet Sentiment cardstock panel.
I then stamped, coloured and fussy cut the small carnation image and leaves. I coloured I carnation bright red and the other 3 white to be in the background.
I stamped the sentiment in black and die cut it out. I also die cut 3 extra sentiment shapes which I then adhered behind the stamped sentiment.
I arranged and adhered the flowers and the sentiment onto the geometric panel which I trimmed to 4.23x5.48". I used foam dots behind the red carnation so that it would stand out even more against the white.
I adhered an A2 sized black cardstock panel to a white A2 sized top folding card base and then adhered my panel to the card.
