Beware-Double Layer Light up Shaker

When I saw this Halloween tunnel card add-on I came up with the idea to make a double layer, stacked shaker card. The layered dies lends itself perfectly for this technique.

To start, I picked out some Halloween-y patterned paper. I cut the top layer I cut to measure 5.5x4.75 (but scored it on both sides) so that I could wrap around the sides covering up the layers so they don't show. I then die cut the first two layers. On the reverse sides of both panels, I adhered a piece of acetate to cover the opening. After that, I placed double sided foam tape all around to create a well. See pictures below.

After the wells were created, I filled the first shaker layer with a fall leaves Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. Then I covered that with another piece of acetate creating the first shaker layer.

Now, I figured the shaker needed some extra oomph so why not add a couple of lights to it right??? I pulled out my Chibitronics and set it up to have a light hidden behind the trees, one on each side. See pics below for set up.

The Next Layer, I set up exactly like the first, minus the lights. I filled the shaker well behind the house with a Halloween Sparkle Blends mix from Doodles Paper Playground and covered it with another piece of acetate. Then I covered the rest of the panel in double sided foam tape.

Switching to my A2 sized card base, I die cut a circle in the front panel to line up with the shaker panels creating the see through aspect. On a yellow piece of cardstock I die cut the final layer of the Halloween tunnel card, stamped a sentiment from my stash, backed the bats with black cardstock and the moon with an orangey-yellow card stock. I backed that on a larger patterned circle then adhered it on the inside panel to line up with the front circle.
