A Pink Lemonade Hello

With warm weather just around the corner, I am sharing this fun and summery, pink lemonade card. I used the Hairpin Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs as the background for this yummy looking lemonade!

To create this card, I first stamped the mason jar image onto Kraft cardstock using no line ink. This ink is great to use because it fades out when you color over it.

I coloured the image using my Prismacolor pencils. I then added highlights using a white gel pen.

Next, I stamped the mason jar image onto masking paper, fussy cut it out and then placed it over the coloured image.

Then I positioned and secured the stencil over the panel and ink blended Sparkling Berry ink from Catherine Pooler to cover the background.

To create the matching hello, I used the scripty hello included in the Flip Card, Dashed Circles from i-Crafter Art to die cut 3 hello's out from kraft cardstock. I then inked them up using the same Sparkling Berry ink. I adhered the hello's in a stack then adhered them onto the panel.

Lastly, I added some shading below the jar, and adhered the panel onto top folding white card base.

Thanks for stopping in today. I hope I've inspired you to colour something fun! Happy crafting.
