Today I am sharing this adorable bunny from the Bunny Bouquet set who looks so delighted to be surrounded by these flowers. It reminds me of being a kid laying in the grass looking for shapes in the clouds!
I started out by stamping the bunny image onto white cardstock using black ink. I then coloured the whole image with Prismacolor pencils. The colours I used were:
Bunny: body Warm Gray 10% cheeks: Blush Pink heart: Pink, Hot Pink, Process Red,
Pomegranate
Flowers: Yellowed Orange, Orange
Leaves: Apple Green, Chartreuse
Background: Grass Green, Dark Green, Gray Green Light
I then went over some of the black lines that had dulled when colouring with my black Prismacolor pencil.
Next I trimmed the image down using a torn edge square die from my stash. I also die cut a torn square (the same size as the bunny one) out of a matching pink cardstock. I then cut an A2 sized panel (5.5 x 4.25) from the green plaid cardstock that is in the Spring Floral #1 paper pack. I adhered that panel onto a top folding cad base. I layered the pink square and then the bunny square and offset them on the card base.
I stamped the #simplepleasures sentiment from the Simple Things stamp set onto white cardstock. I then cut it out using a banner die from my stash and adhered it onto the front of the card. Pink twine ribbon at the top finished the card off.
